Gamers can take their Playstations and Xboxes on the go this winter thanks to their shiny new iPhone 15.

Mobile gaming firm Backbone have announced second generation USB-C Backbone One controllers to take advantage of the Apple device’s new connectivity.

It’s moved from the Lightning port to a more generic USB-C connector due to law changes in the EU.

And that means the Backbones will now work not only with Android handsets but also the latest Apple phone.

They’re designed to snap you phone in the middle and act as a gaming controller for app-based gaming on streaming services like Xbox’s Game Pass and Playstation’s PS Remote Play.

“All while maintaining the form and ergonomics that players know and love.

“When combined with the Backbone app which puts all of gaming in one place, it’s the most accessible gaming experience yet.”

The firm is also unveiling the new Backbone One Carrying Case in both black and white.
