Rating the best football stadiums of all time is an intriguing yet impossible job.

Due to the history of famous old grounds, many of which have been revamped for the better or worse, or brand spanking new areas, fans could argue the issue for hours. Artificial intelligence platform ChatGPT has tried to settle the debate by creating a list of the world's top 10 grounds ever.

It’s an eye-opening list which places Barcelona’s Nou Camp at the top, despite the fact it is being completely rebuilt with the team playing at the city’s Olympic Stadium this season.

ChatGPT also places Manchester United’s Old Trafford second, despite its decline in recent years and its infamous leaky roof which has become a symbol of the Glazers’ running of the club by many fans. Old Trafford, which hosted a Champions League final back in 2003 and games at Euro 96, hasn’t even made the cut for the 2028 European Championship, which will be staged in the UK and Ireland.
