A man's disgusting act on a dead possum in the middle of a road horrified motorists.

Rudy Wilcox, 45, from Clearwater, Florida, was allegedly seen taking a poo on roadkill on Wednesday (November 15) evening. Rush hour commuters driving between the busy Belcher Road and Willow Tree Trail intersection at 5:23pm ogled on in disgust as the man purportedly pulled down his pants and did his business, officials said.

“The [defendant] was observed defecating on a deceased possum with his pants lowered and his anal region exposed,” a Pinellas County affidavit, obtained by the Smoking Gun, read. A Clearwater Police Department officer also reportedly was in “full view” of the events and witnessed the man relieve himself on the deceased animal first hand.

After being questioned and read his rights by cops, Wilcox denied the accusation. He said that the officer who claimed to witness the lewd act “doesn’t see straight” – but cops didn’t agree.

They claimed that the body of the dead possum smeared in faecal matter upholds the cop’s and witness’ claims. “Physical evidence was viewed at the scene which corroborates the allegations alleged,” the affidavit stated.

Willcox, who is homeless, was charged for exposure of sexual organs and is currently being held at Pinellas County Jail. He was reportedly neither under the influence of any drugs or alcohol at the time, the police report stated.

He’s not the first Florida inhabitant to allegedly get caught exposing themselves in full view of commuters this month. Sara Fazekas, 55, and Robert Clarke, 60, were spotted “fully nude on top of each other” on a causeway in Dunedin, Florida on November 10.

The pair claimed it was “always a dream” to have sex on the roadside, while one alleged witness described the couple's lewd acts as “crack to sack going to town”.
