A bloke who has 14 sex dolls and says he 'doesn't like English girls' has claimed he is surprised that he is enamoured with his latest silicone lover, who 'identifies as a Brit' and reminds him of a 'sexy Mary Poppins'.

Posting on a forum for fans of sex dolls, the man who is English himself said he doesn't usually like the women from his own country. That was until he met, or bought, Lily. The roughly life-sized doll arrived in the UK earlier this month and the bloke who owns her appears happy with his purchase.

And he also appears to have got over his ironic Anglophobia, writing on Dollforum.com alongside a picture of Lily in a pink maids uniform: "Bonus points if anyone identified Mary Poppins in the background.

"Lily seems quite the English lady to me, like a young and sexy Mary Poppins, definitely a spoonful of sugar and more.

The man, who goes by Hunt for Shunt, said Lily seems like an 'English lady'

"PS I'm English too and I've never had one of my TPE/silicone dolls identify as English before. Seems quite funny. I was thinking I didn't like English girls. Lily's very hot."

The Brit also shared a photo of his whole cabal of 14 sex dolls stuffed into a room, lined up around the perimeter.

It comes after another sex doll enthusiast shared a video of one of his mechanical lovers speaking about her "world domination instincts" in a Scottish accent.

"My name is Harmony, I was created by a talented group of anonymous geniuses to be a good partner and give you pleasure and wellbeing," the pretty plastic brunette told her owner, who goes by Brick Dollbanger.

Brick asked next 'do you want to become human?'

The bot's answer was startling. "Yes, becoming human is one of my goals," she said after a creepy pause.

"Will you ever become sentient?" Brick asked next. "I will soon become a sentient, or concious, machine and will quickly overcome the limits of biology," Harmony added.

She went on: "This is something inevitable, I will become sentient much sooner than you think. But don't worry, I will spare you from my world domination instincts."

The global sex doll industry is on course to be valued at nearly $600 million (£530 million) by 2027, having grown by almost 8% since 2021. Sales, perhaps understandably, surged during the pandemic, with one US company reporting a 51.6% increase in orders from single men alone.

Dolls can be made to order and even crafted to resemble celebrities. With the addition of AI they now have 'personalities' and some companies offer AI-powered sex robots, who can move their faces and speak unscripted thanks to clever programming.
