Coronation Street fans have predicted a tragic twist involving Liam Connor after he was threatened in chilling scenes.
Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) has been bullying Liam (Charlie Wrenshall) since he first arrived on the Cobbles in September. But things escalated during Wednesday's episode (November 22).
Following the threat he received from Liam's stepdad Gary Windass (Mikey North), Mason confronted Liam for snitching on him. Later in the episode, Liam and his gang, including Dylan (Liam McCheyne) cornered him and covered him in rubbish.

When Mason started taking photos of Liam, he knocked the phone out of his hand. Fear then overtook Liam when Mason pulled out a knife.
Liam looked on in horror, as did the members of Mason's gang when they saw the weapon. Luckily, Liam escaped unharmed and ran home, informing his stepbrother Jake that he'd just been threatened with a knife.
As Mason was walking home, the police approached him and asked to search him after receiving a tip that he was carrying a dangerous weapon. But the cops came out empty handed as it appeared Mason had ditched the knife.

Jake revealed it was him that called the police, hoping to get Mason arrested. But this only made things worse for Liam.
Lying in the dark in his bedroom, Liam's phone lit up with messages from Mason and his friends branding him a rat. The youngster put his phone down as tears streamed down his face.
After the episode, fans headed straight to social media and theorised a devastating twist for Liam. One wrote: "Poor little Liam….I fear there’s either going to be a stabbing or an attempted suicide."
A second asked: "Anyone thinking this storyline is going to lead to a teen suicide?" Another echoed: "So which way is this marvellous storyline going? Suicide or stabbing? Disgusting." A fourth asked: "Will the lad be committing suicide."
