Former Disney actress Maitland Ward is continuing her success in the adult industry after racking up more awards nominations.

The 46-year-old redhead has already won nine adult gongs since joining the industry back in 2019. And she could have more under her belt, as she was nominated for two XBIZ Awards this week.

The ex Boy Meets World star, who writes and directs racy films as well as starring in them, has bagged nominations for Featurette of the Year (“Casting Couch”) and Best Sex Scene – Vignette (“Fame”).

Maitland awas overjoyed at the news, revealing: “I am so happy that the first two scenes that I wrote and directed on my own have both been nominated for XBIZ Awards. I'd like to give a big thanks to the team at XBIZ for acknowledging my creative work as a filmmaker.

“I’ve been eyeing the director’s chair and the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and test my abilities behind the camera for a while now. I’m so glad that I finally took the leap.

"I've also really enjoyed weaving bits of my many Hollywood experiences into these films. It's been a blast — like riding a rollercoaster, but with more cameras and less screaming."

The nominations come after Maitland was crowned Best Actress at the XRCO Awards last year. She said at the time: "That makes 9 individual acting awards I’ve won in 3 awards seasons. That's so amazing and very humbling!"

Maitland opened up to Daily Star about why's he quit mainstream acting for the adult industry and OnlyFans back in August, as she claimed she was denied 'sexy' roles by producers.

"I had been told for so long by Hollywood producers, directors, managers and publicists that I couldn’t be sexy, I couldn’t do the kind of roles I wanted to do," she said.

"That nobody would want to see me like that, nobody would pay for me doing anything sexy. That got into my psyche and that’s why I didn’t think I could make anything on content. Then all of a sudden it exploded."
