A teen mum who faced trolls when she got pregnant at 14 is having the last laugh after making a fortune.

Alex Yetter, now 22, used to live in her parents' basement but now sells multi-million dollar mansions. She also drives flashy cars and lives in her dream property.

The mum, from Oregon, US, said: "I felt like I missed out, I wasn't dating, I wasn't able to go to all the parties like my friends, I couldn't relate to them."

But she's happy to have been able to overcome it all and looking back, Alex wouldn't "change a thing". In fact, it's led her to where she is today.

Alex recalled her world flipping upside-down after she took a pregnancy test which came out positive. Out of embarrassment, she kept the news to herself.

She added: "Before I got pregnant, I was on the cheer team. I had lots of friends, I was pretty well-known around the school.

"So when I found out my freshman year, I actually didn't tell anybody, the number one reason for that was that I was embarrassed."

But when her bump started to show at 20 weeks, rumours started to go around school. Alex revealed when people found out she often had "nasty mean things" said to her.

She enrolled into an online course and graduated

Alex made a decision to quit high school when she felt like she hit rock bottom. Then at 15, she finally welcomed her son Milo.

The mum put Milo in childcare and enrolled back into an online high school course where she worked at a tanning salon to pay the bills.

Then three years later, Alex graduated with her adorable little boy by her side and managed to move out of her parents' basement and into her first home.

She believes having to become a responsible adult at such a young age motivated her to go after her chosen industry, the world of real estate.

Once she gained her licence, she began attending open houses and networking events to take her first steps into the industry.

Her hard work and determination paid off as she is now earning a fortune selling luxury properties for over $2million (£1.6m).

Alex now lives in her dream house with her eight-year-old son who she enrolled in private education.

She concluded: "I decided to just pursue that and I have been to networking events, I'm doing the open houses, I am prospecting, I'm doing all these things to try and grow my business.

"I put in the work, and now I'm living out my dreams and I am blessed to be able to enroll my son into a private Christian school.

"We're just happy and content where we're at, we've come a long way from being in my parents' basement at 14 and as a newborn."
