A lot of people look for guidance in their relationships from the stars.

Now astrology expert Kristy Gran says singletons and people in relationships often approach her to find out things such as how to avoid red flags and how to re-kindle a spark.

And she's now given more guidance on the stars and sensuality in a new article for news.com/au.

Kristy says by exploring your zodiac sign, you "gain insights into compatibility", saying: "We all have our individual preferences in giving and receiving love and our zodiac signs reveal what brings us pleasure and turns us on."

Aries (March 20 – April 19)

Kristy says Aries are usually "unforgettable". She added: "This cardinal fire sign is ruled by Mars, the planet of desire and lust. They’re passionate, spontaneous and their impulsive nature means they’ll be quick to get into the mood and turn up the heat." Watch out those, as she claims Aries 'tend to get bored and distracted easily'.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

According to Kristy, Taurus is the most sensual sign of the zodiac. "They love nothing more than taking their time – especially in the bedroom and indulging the five senses; touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste. This fixed earth sign is ruled by Venus, the planet of luxury and love, which means silk sheets, an opulent candle and a long uninterrupted evening will be your way towards seducing this sign," she said. Kristy says you shouldn't rush things though with a Taurus, otherwise the relationship could be cut short.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)

Gemini's like to keep things spicy in the bedroom, according to Kristy. Stimulation starts with the mind for them, according to the expert, so she recommends boosting their libido with flirtation, role play and speaking about your needs and desires. They often have a playful nature but tend to become restless if the relationship loses its spark.

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)

Cancer is 'the great romantic' of the zodiac, according to Kristy. She says: "They find comfort in taking care of their partner. They have a sensitive side, seeking someone who makes them feel comfortable, purely because they’re a cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon, the luminary of emotions and personal needs" Kristy says you should expect your sexual needs to be met when the trust grows.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)

Leo is a fixed fire sign that is ruled by the Sun - the luminary of energy and vitality. Kristy says they "exude confidence and charisma", which transcends to the intimacy department as they often want to star in their next big performance. She recommends positioning a mirror as the focal point in the bedroom so they can properly perform.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)

This mutable earth sign is ruled by Mercury, the planet of intellect and communication, according to Kristy. She says that if you've captured a Virgo's attention and "ticked the box of emotionally available", then they’ll show you their wild side and it’ll "likely leave you speechless and begging for more".

Libra (September 23 – October 22)

Kristy says Libra's can bring you "stability between the sheets". She commented: "This cardinal air sign is ruled by Venus, the planet of luxury and love, adding to Libra’s allure and charm. They’re always seeking their own version of equilibrium, which can mean their libido is always in ebb and flow, but once you’ve hit their hot buttons they’ll be ready to go and things are likely to get adventurous and passionate."

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)

Scorpio is the most seductive sign of the zodiac, according to Kristy. She says they're "powerful, mysterious and captivating" and likely to leave you wanting more. The fixed water sign is ruled by Pluto, the planet of intensity and rebirth. She says you should expect a "transcendent experience" when your bodies meet.

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)

Sagittarius are full of adventure, as well as being open-minded and passionate, according to Kristy. She says their eroticism 'needs entertainment and stimulation', though, so best to keep things interesting with them.

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)

Capricorn always go after what they wants, says Kristy. She also says they have great stamina in the bedroom, but have a sensual side too. "Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign, ruled by Saturn the planet of discipline and focus," she commented. "So, expect all eyes on how you can both build a steamy sex life together."

Aquarius (January 20 – February 18)

Aquarius are known to be 'unconventional', according to the expert. Kristy also says they’re one of the intellects of the zodiac, so they need to 'meet their match in this department', otherwise they’ll likely to lean towards “no strings attached” situation.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)

Pisces seek all encompassing love as romanticise every aspect of their life, according to Kristy. She revealed: "They’re a mutable water sign ruled by Neptune, the planet of dreams and mysticism. This energy transcends to the bedroom, where they’ll happily play out their wildest fantasies, as long as they can fully immerse themselves in the moment."
