Josie Gibson's Big Brother ex John James Parton is completely unrecognisable since the unlikely duo fell for each other in the final Channel 4 series of the show.

This Morning darling Josie entered the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! jungle and introduced herself as a television presenter. But before that, fans fell for her personable charm when she was crowned the winner of civilian Big Brother in 2010.

During the series, she struck up an unexpected romance with Australian hunk John James Parton. But things didn't end well for the duo, and they split up after cheating claims.

Back then, John James was in his early 20s and had the classic floppy fringe of the noughties. Nowadays, though, he looks completely different – and he's majorly beefed up.

Fans were reminded of him a few years ago in 2018 as he entered the Love Island Australia villa. But you would be forgiven for not recognising him.

His bleached hair was gone, with his natural colour a darker brown. The Justin Bieber fringe was nowhere to be seen either, as he had a more stylish quiff.

The reality star's slim body frame had undergone a massive transformation too. As expected for Love Island stars, John James was completely ripped, with bulging pecs and biceps and a solid six pack.

Viewers didn't get to see too much of him though as he quit the show after one week. Nowadays, his social media is private but it's believed he works as a DJ in his native Australia.

Now 38, John James was 24 when he met 25-year-old Bristol lass Josie. Their romance went down well with viewers and they even continued dating after the show.

But in 2011, in Josie's Channel 5 show There's Something About Josie, she claimed he had cheated on her. He denied this, but he later spoke of her again.

They were actually reunited in 2016 when they both appeared as a guest on Bit On The Side. But their reunion was clearly very awkward for both of them.

Later, in 2018, he claimed she had been sending him raunchy Snapchats, which she denied. Josie was pregnant at the time and laughed off his claims, telling Daily Mail Australia: "I've got a baby on the way, what were those inappropriate pictures meant to be of? My big fat baby bump?"

In the same interview, she revealed he had been in touch. She said: "The most contact we've had is when John got in touch the other year and said to me, 'I never loved you like I should have.' What the hell's that meant to mean?"

John James would later tell new! magazine that he "regretted" how things ended with Josie, saying: "It got heated and nasty towards the end." He added: "But at the same time, I don't think you could sit us in the same room and have a civil conversation."

Now Josie is in Australia though, could that conversation be on the cards? Josie did confirm she was single after all.
