Putin's sex-mad gymnast lover, who “disappeared” a month ago, could be living it up on her favourite super yacht owned by the Russian President.
Alina Kabaeva was last seen in October as the special guest for a gymnastics competition in the city of Sochi. However, she was not seen returning to Moscow, and here whereabouts since are unknown.
The Daily Star has been following the bizarre claims that Putin died two weeks ago of a heart attack – something constantly denied by the Kremlin – and conspiracies remain rife of a lookalike replacing him in the seat of power. The double is said to be being managed by Russian Security Chief Nikolai Patrushev – but the Kremlin has denied the story on three occasions, which is very un-Kremlin like.

The source, using Telegram channel General SVR, went on to claim last week that Putin's sex-mad gymnast lover Alina Kabaeva was now under “house arrest” and had lost all of her power. This was then followed a few days later by expert Professor Anthony Glees exclusively telling the Daily Star that Kabaeva could be the Kremlin source, and was being “punished” as a result.
However, rather than throwing her in a gulag, she could actually be having a wonderful time on Putin's £40million super yacht called Victoria. Measuring a whopping 233ftin length, the yacht is said to be housed in a NATO shipyard in Turkey for upgrades, but is still active.
The existence of the yacht was made public earlier this week by a dossier put together by anonymous investigative journalists. Normally based in Sochi – where Kabaeva was last seen – it has two giant master bedrooms, one of which contains a large circular bed with a big mirror above it.
It also has a specially equipped television system, featuring several children's channels available only across Europe, and Putin's bedroom is said to have a custom made velvet bedspread. It has the capacity for 28 people, with 15 of those being crew, and is said to Kabaeva's favourite of all of Putin's giant yachts.
It was last seen in Sochi on the very day Kabaeva was there.
The dossier states: “This is the 71-meter Victoria, the flagship of Vladimir Putin's Black Sea flotilla. On October 21, Victoria left Sochi and two days later moored west of the shipyard in Istanbul. On the morning of October 25, the ship moved to the docks, turned off the transmitter (AIS) and stopped appearing on maps of specialized services.”
In an odd move, a source confirmed that the ship contains several expensive items, including beach towels prices at £1,950 each, a chess set for a whopping £1,316, and a backgammon set for £2,900. It was first used in 2013, and had previously been spotted off the coast of occupied Crimea in 2021.
