Coronation Street’s fan-favourite couple Asha Alahan and Nina Lucas could be set for a devastating split, AI has claimed.
The pair, played by Tanisha Gorey and Mollie Gallagher, have been dating for the last two years. And things seemed to be going well for them - but fans and AI now reckon there’s trouble in paradise for Asha and Nina.
In recent episodes, newcomer Isla made her arrival on the cobbles. She was introduced to viewers as Asha‘a work pal - with Asha currently training as a paramedic.

Last week, Asha and Nina went for lunch with Asha’s brother Aadi and Isla. Nina was determined to get Aadi and Isla to hook up, but in an awkward turn of events, Isla was more interested in discussing work with Asha, much to Nina’s disappointment.
Jealous, Nina thought something romantic was going on between the pair. And in Wednesday’s episode (November 22) Nina confessed to Asha how she was feeling.
In the morning, Asha revealed she was spending the day with Isla to go through coursework and then planned to have dinner. Nina then told her missus that she was jealous but Asha assured her there was nothing to worry about and they were simply friends.
However, it’s not been claimed that heartbreak could be in store for Nina, as Asha could cheat on her with Isla. Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Bard AI to see if Asha and Nina could split.
The program responded: “It is possible that Nina and Asha could split up in Coronation Street because of Isla. There are a few reasons to believe this.”
The system explained: “First, Isla is Asha's friend from university, and they have a lot in common. Second, Asha has been spending more and more time with Isla, and Nina has expressed her concerns about this. Third, Asha has been flirting with Isla, and Nina has noticed this.”
Bard AI also noted how “it is certainly possible” that Asha could cheat on Nina. It explained: “Asha has been spending a lot of time with Isla, and she seems to be attracted to her. However, it is also possible that Asha is just looking for a friend and has no intention of cheating on Nina.”

What’s more, fans of the soap reckon Isla could be up to something darker than just romance. On social media, some claimed they have worked out her ‘dark secret’.
Taking to Reddit, one user speculated: “So, I'm a few episodes behind, but it's pretty obvious that a relationship will develop between Asha and her new colleague whom she keeps mentioning (Isla?)....yay, another relationship challenge.”
But someone else quickly responded: “She'll be up to something (they always are), probably end up in some sort of drugs plot sooner rather than later and drag Asha into it.” Though another fan wrote: “They certainly seemed to have a lot more chemistry than she ever had with Nina.”
Another Reddit user echoed: “She could just have a big crush on her. It could even blow up in her face. Lots of trauma bonding at work and I can only imagine what being a paramedic must be like. I have some pretty close yet 100% platonic relationships with my coworkers but we have all been there +10 years. Luckily my partner isn't jealous even when we take group trips.
