Deal or No Deal players and viewers have been left in awe after a contestant correctly predicted what is in the selected box.

In the third episode of the new series being shown on ITV, wedding businessman Raj was selected to be the lucky contestant to win some money. After a good start to his run, things quickly turned sour for Raj who saw a number of high-value boxes being eliminated from the game.

Raj then chose fellow contestant Jamie to open his box next in the process of the game. However, Jamie broke with tradition and urged him not to select his box, as he believed he had a high-value red with him.

After confirming his selection, Jamie opened his box to reveal that he had £50,000 inside, taking out the third highest prize money in the game. Raj, together host with Stephen Mulhern asked Jamie to reveal what was inside Raj's.

Jamie then approached the box, which was placed beneath Raj's lucky mascot of a puppet. After a few moments, Jamie confessed Raj had a low blue figure in his box, which drew scoffs and derision from the audience in the studio watching the game play out.

However, unluckily for Raj, as the game progressed, he would continue to take more reds out of the game, which continued to devalue his box for the Banker off-screen. At the end of the game, only two boxes remained - both being blue, one containing £10 and another containing £100.
