Emmerdale fans are worried doubts are beginning to creep in between Dawn and Billy Fletcher in the ITV soap – and reckon Dawn could be playing away with an unexpected soap legend.
This week, Dawn enjoyed her baby shower as she prepares to welcome her first child with her husband Billy, but the tension rose when she admitted she had been addicted to drugs while pregnant with Lucas, her first son. Chatting to her gathered pals, Dawn confessed that she’s worried she’s not a good enough mum.
Things only got worse as Billy got into a fight with Aaron Dingle, prompting Lucas to ask: “Are you and mummy splitting up?” when he saw his bruised face during Thursday’s episode (November 16).

Now fans have come out of the woodwork with a rather random conspiracy theory, with one suggesting on X – formerly Twitter – that Dawn could already be conducting an affair to blow off steam. One viewer wrote: “No way Caleb and Tracy are the only ones having an affair in the village right now, I reckon Dawn is cheating on Billy with someone and have a horrible feeling it’s Cain.”
Someone else immediately replied: “Random but makes sense after the way Dawn was at the baby shower thinking she's not good enough so maybe she sabotaged their relationship?”
The village is currently rife with affairs, with Charity and Mackenzie also carrying on behind Chloe's back after getting back together. Caleb and Tracy have been playing away too – though Tracy was determined to end things between them after a rushed kiss.
And though there's plenty of speculation about Cain, others think his recent dealings with Kim Tate could point to a secret romance between him and the Home Farm owner. The pair have grown closer after Cain helped Kim cover up Craig's murder.

Sharing their thoughts on X, one wrote: "I have the feeling it will be Kim & Cain that has the affair." A second added: "Kim is attracted to Cain and tried to get him to sleep with her a few years ago. Will the writers revisit this? Cain & Kim affair before year is over?"
