Alison Hammond has revealed she gave her This Morning colleague Josie Gibson some sneaky advice ahead of her I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here stint.
Alison, who rose to fame as a Big Brother contestant, starred in the jungle herself back in 2010. On Thursday's instalment of This Morning, meanwhile, the Brummie star chatted to co-host Craig Doyle about 38-year old Josie's chances Down Under.
After the pair watched a pre-recorded segment Jodie from Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland, Alison admitted she will miss her Bristolian pal as she competes against fellow celebrities including Marvin Humes and Nigel Farage. "It's actually made me emotional because I speak to Josie nearly every single day, and like... I can't speak to her," she explained.

Craig then asked Alison about her own experience: "So just remind me - your phone is taken off you the minute you arrive in Australia to go in the jungle - it's gone?"
"As soon as you get there," Alison confirmed. "Although I did tell her to take a little dead one, I don't think she did though." Surprised Craig replied: "A burner? Did she bring a burner?"
Laughing, Alison confessed: "I told her to. I told her to bring a burner and she was like, 'no way'. But I reckon she did!"
"What's a burner phone?" Craig asked with a guilty look on his face. "It's like a phone...," Alison began to explain before Craig admitted he knew what the device was really.

The pair burst into laughter, with Alison adding: "I thought you really didn't know!" It comes after Josie revealed she already regrets signing up for I'm A Celeb. Earlier thsi week, she said: "I know I have taken on challenges for This Morning in the past but I don’t know if I’ve taken on too much here. It’s all becoming very real. I am dreading the insects and it’s my biggest phobia.
"I also don’t like spiders and I freeze normally when I see one. My family thinks I am mad doing the programme too as they know what I’m like with creepy crawlies!"

As she landed in Brisbane, Josie added: "I'm really excited to be here in Australia, I have never been here before. What am I scared of? I'm here for a weight loss retreat so I don't know what you're talking about."
And praising Craig, who is helping to fill her This Morning void, Josie said: "Craig is so nice, I think he is with Cat Deeley on Wednesday and then Rylan too. So, make sure you don't miss it!"
