Hollywood actress Kate Winslet has vowed to never quit recording nude scenes after appearing topless in her latest movie, Lee.

The film debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this week – some 26 years after the 47-year old rose to superstardom in Titanic – another flick in which she bared all.

Then, starring as Rose DeWitt alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, her character asked Leo's Jack Dawson to "draw her like one of those French girls" before the ship famously sunk.

And now, in self-produced Lee, Kate starring as World War II Vogue photographer and journalist Lee Miller, finds herself topless on the beach alongside her future husband, Roland Penrose and her pals.

Despite being criticised over her nudity in the past, Kate has explained why she won't let the haters win.

Referring to Titanic in Vogue, she said: "I think it probably stems from having been subjected to the most awful scrutiny and judgment, and, actually, I would go so far as to say bullying, from mainstream media when I was in my 20s.

"I was consistently told I was in the wrong shape. I was consistently told I would have to settle for less."

Kate continued: "I know better than to waste precious energy on criticising my physical self. I think any woman is better off just saying: I believe in myself. It doesn’t matter what other people think; this is who I am — let’s get on with it."

Another film in which the actress' sexy scenes earned rave reviews is 2021's Ammonite.

The production saw Kate portray the real-life English pioneering palaeontologist Mary Anning, who embarks on a sizzling same-sex romance with Charlotte Murchison - played by Saoirse Ronan.

Discussing its steamy scenes, Kate revealed: "It was very clear to me that they were quite capable of passionate moments, and Saoirse and I both wanted to embody that."
