Love Island’s Casey O’Gorman admitted he attempted to kiss Maya Jama after he failed to find love on the dating show.
Loyal fans of the ITV2 reality show will remember the Hertfordshire hunk soared to stardom this summer when he struggled to find love on the hugely-popular dating program. During his time on the show, the star enjoyed a brief romance with famous motorcycle racer Carl Fogarty’s daughter, Claudia.
In the end, the pair couldn’t make things work and soon cut ties shortly before they were voted off the Spanish island. Since then, the 26-year-old recruitment consultant has failed to find love despite his new-found fame.

But that hasn’t stopped him from trying as he recalled how he tried to plant a kiss on the ITV host at an after party when he finished filming the ITV spin-off show Aftersun. Despite his best efforts, the hunk was bluntly turned away by the raven-haired beauty as she shared the awkward clip on her Instagram story.
Now, in an exclusive interview with Daily Star, Casey has finally spilled the beans on the uncomfortable moment. When asked what it was like to work with her on the show, he told us: “Every time she walked into the villa I was like, ‘Can I couple up with you?’
“She put up a video of her and Stormzy welcoming her back to the airport and I popped up to her being like, ‘When were you going to tell me?’" Looking back on the embarrassing moment at fellow Islander Davide Sanclimenti’s Sci-Mx launch party, the TV star admitted he didn’t regret the cheeky move.

Casey went on: “When I went on Aftersun with Tom [Clare], I tried to kiss her, but she pulled away. But look, you’ve got to shoot your shot. Every shot you don’t take you miss out on, right?”
The ladies’ man reassured fans that he is still going from strength to strength away from the villa, even though he didn’t find love on the show. He continued: “I didn’t find love, but I did find Tom.”
The former consultant went on to share some of the best and worst qualities in his new roommate after they moved in together. Casey said: “We’re both very clean, we both motivate each other, we’re always at the gym.
“Even if one of us doesn’t want to go the other one will push them to go. We proper drive each other, it’s nice.” When asked what one of Tom’s flaws are as a housemate, Casey admitted that the stunner is terrible in the kitchen.

The Islander added: “Tom can't cook, I’m always the one doing the cooking at home. I'm the organised one.
“Whenever we go out on holiday, I'll always be the one booking the flight so I’ll be the one organising everything. He just sits there and looks pretty, but he does it so well,” he chuckled.
