Sir Jim Ratcliffe is planning to axe three expensive Manchester United's flops in the January transfer window.
The English billionaire is on the verge of acquiring a 25% stake in the club, but will have total control of all footballing operations once he arrives. He plans to work closely with Erik ten Hag and assess the squad ahead of the winter window, and three big names are already on the chopping block.
Jadon Sancho, Antony and Anthony Martial, who joined United for a combined £200million, are set to be culled, with Ratcliffe looking to begin his spell at his boyhood club with a bang, according to The Sun. Sancho's departure looks inevitable after the ex-Dortmund man fell out with Ten Hag earlier in the season.

He's spent the last few weeks in exile, training by himself and changing in the youth team complex after refusing to apologise to the manager following a public spat about his training levels. It's also understood £73m Sancho is more than happy to leave in January, providing Ten Hag is still in the job.
£82m Antony, meanwhile, has struggled for form since following Ten Hag to Old Trafford from Ajax last summer. He's yet to register a single goal this season and has struggled to justify his mammoth price tag, and although a mid-season departure would be a shock, supporters, as things stand, wouldn't miss him much.

Martial's departure, on the other hand, has been a long time coming. The Frenchman, who's cost £45m to date, hasn't been a United regular since the 2019/20 campaign, and has made just four starts under Ten Hag this season. His contract expires in June 2024, so United will lose him for nothing if they fail to find a buyer in January.
