The most prolific speed camera in the UK has been revealed after it snared almost 100,000 drivers in just three years, raking in fines to the tune of £9.89million.
The camera, on the A40 in Uxbridge, North West London, sits in a 40mph zone and has hooked many over zealous drivers, with fines typically sitting at around £100.
Statistics released under Freedom of Information laws, after a request by The Sun, have laid bare just how many drivers are snared on the UK's busiest road and given a league table of shame.

Cameras set up during roadworks on a stretch of the A1 at Grantham in Lincolnshire saw 95,000 drivers caught speeding, while another 90,000 were done by the cameras on the M62 between Warrington and Manchester.
The figures revealed that upwards of 85,000 were snared on the North Circular in Brent, North West London. Fifth on the list was a stretch of the M25 in Surrey, where almost 65,000 drivers were snared.
The Sun reported that the 10 busiest speed cameras could have cost drivers more than £65million over the past three years.
Howard Cox, founder of Fair-FuelUK, said that cameras aren't for safety, but merely to "fleece" drivers.
"It is patently clear speed cameras do not stop speeding, they simply fleece drivers with most caught out doing just a fraction over the limit," he said.
“Of course, dangerous speeding should be prosecuted, but if over 100,000 drivers at one camera site for example, have been penalised, it’s clear these limits have been set artificially low.

Last year, In a 12-month period Britain's speed cameras caught 1.74 million motorists driving over the limit, racking up an eye-watering £45.7 million in fines.
Data supplied to Confused.com from 36 of the 46 UK police forces asked revealed how many prosecutions were filed against drivers who were caught speeding, and the worst offenders.
Of the motorists that were caught, only 457,232 drivers (around one in four) were forced to pay the £100 fine and three penalty points on their licence. The A40 between Long Drive and Wellands Gardens in London proved to be the trickiest stretch of road, with 49,050 people caught by the Met.
