Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle has shared some huge news as she was recognised for her illustrious career in music.
Coyle, from the Northern Irish town of Derry, was awarded the Forth Music Recognition Award at a glamorous ceremony, in the Scottish capital of Edinburgh. She also gave a performance to the attendees as she closed the awards show.
This is the second gong Nadine, 38, has picked up this month, after having receiving the Outstanding Contribution to Music award at the Irish Post awards. And it was clear that Nadine was bowled over with the support she was receiving.

Sharing a post to her Instagram page, she gushed over her new accolades as she captioned the snaps: "Thank you Forth awards for my award for my Contribution to music!!! Xx Thank you to everyone for all of your support!!!
"I feel so lucky that after all these years of doing what I love," Coyle continued. I still get to do it & have so much love in return!!!" followed by two kisses.
Some of Nadine's fans immediately took to the comments section to share their love for the singer, with many congratulating her on her new awards. One user commented: "Two awards in 7 days, crazy! Love that you still get to do what you love doing all these years down the line."
Whilst a second fan added: "Two awards in a week - look at you go, absolutely thriving! Congratulations beaut."
Nadine's nods to her music come as a new chapter in her career could be about to open. Speaking to The Sun earlier in the month, she admitted that plans for publishing are in the works: "You have to be really open, it is a big undertaking and you have to be prepared."
As well as her new book career, Nadine could be making a grand return to the charts. Coyle, along with her former Girls Aloud bandmates have been teasing a huge return to music, with fans awash with rumours for a potential reunion with Nicola Roberts, Cheryl and Kimberley Walsh.
To add fuel to the fire, all four girls have been posting video clips of a drive-in movie countdown, with each girl posting a different number. The group have been inactive after they called time on their original run in 2013.
