Olivia Attwood has confirmed she plans to return to I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in the future – but it won't be this year.

The former Love Island star was part of the line-up last year, but sadly had to drop out just days in due to health issues. Ever since, fans have been speculating that she would return to the jungle in this year's series.

However the 32-year-old has broken her silence after initially planning to stay quiet on the topic. She told her Instagram followers: "I wasn't going to talk about anything jungle related because if I'm honest, the way things played out last year still makes my heart hurt... and my brain.

"I have been avoiding Instagram, but the sheer volume of you messaging about the show, commenting, meeting you in person etc I feel like it's wrong not to speak to you guys." With the first post, she also attached some shots of her time on the show.

Olivia continued: "I couldn't commit to going back this year. It wasn't the right time for me.

"There were many things I had to weigh up, but ultimately the sheer intensity of my schedule doesn't allow for that much time 'out of the office'. I read all your messages about the show, your support and love I will never ever take for granted.

"One day I hope when the time is right, we can finish my jungle story. For you guys and myself."

The reality star and documentary-maker then shared a shot of her on a plane. She said: "Now seems like a good time to let my hair down for a few days. I am bursting screaming crying at the seams to share with you the tele things I have coming."

Olivia first found fame in 2017 after she appeared on the third series of Love Island. From there, she enjoyed a stint on TOWIE before landing her own show, Olivia Meets Her Match.
