Only Fools And Horses star Sue Holderness has said she still hears her co-star John Challis’ voice two years after he died.
Actor John - who starred as Boycie in the hit TV series - passed away in 2021 at the age of 79 after a battle with cancer. Sue, who starred as Boycie's wife Marlene, has opened up about how much she misses the late star.
The actress revealed the pair were close and that in some way she doesn't feel as if he has gone and that he will “be with us forever” on our TVs. “John and I really were very good friends," said the 74-year-old.

“It was a very fortuitous thing that we got together. I’m still in touch every week with John’s wife Carol.
“I still miss John terribly, I still don’t feel he’s gone – I still hear his voice," she said. “And I don’t suppose he ever really will be gone. He will be with us forever, on our televisions every night.”
John had played the much-loved character of Boycie for decades. He was in Only Fools And Horses from 1981 to 2003 then also played him in a spin-off called The Green Green Grass, which ran from 2005 to 2009.
After he died, his Only Fools co-star David Jason said that he had thought that John was getting better but that he had deteriorated quickly. The actor, who played Del Boy in the sitcom, opened up on ITV's This Morning shortly after John passed away.
He said that his co-star's passing "wasn't a complete surprise" as he had not been well for a bit. "But it seemed he went downhill so fast, very rapidly," he said.
"One minute we were thinking he was on the road to recovery and then it took him quite swiftly."
