A pal of Russian president Vladimir Putin has hit out at the country's relationship with China and questioned why his fellow citizens "idolise" the country.

Vladimir Solovyov, the long-standing pal of Russia's prime warmonger, claimed the country was "ahead" of China when it came to military technology. For that reason, propagandist Solovyov believes Russia should stop trying to idolise the Xi Jingping-led country.

The Kremlin mouthpiece suggested Russians should stop looking up to China with awe as he marked a number of heavy questions regarding China's quality of living.

Taking to a state media broadcast show, Solovyov rallied against China, who has close relations with Russia in trade and military.

He said: "We are ahead of China in terms of military technology. Why should we idolise China? What houses in China have heating? And how many have a pension?"

Wild comments from Solovyov are no surprise as the mouthpiece has previously suggested Germany is ripe for the picking and will soon find itself under Russian control. He warned the world of Russia's alleged intentions earlier this month.

Solovyov said: "We will not only continue our support for Ukraine, we will continue to expand and increase it. You'll see how, due to your corrupt stupidity, Annalena Baerbock, Berlin will burn and there will be a Victory Banner over the Reichstag [legislative building]!"

His mad comments on the future of Germany come as Putin administers a series of in absentia arrests on various music artists who were critical of the war in Ukraine and historic war crimes of the Soviet Union.

Both Pussy Riot member Nadya Tolokonnikova and Eurovision Song Contest winner Jamala were both confirmed to have been arrested by the Russian government.

Should either of them return to Russian soil they will be placed under arrest for vague charges administered by the Russian Ministry of Justice, the Daily Star confirmed.
