Wales Football Team

The Wales national football team represent the country in international competition. Managed by Ryan Giggs, their best-ever achievement is a run to the semi-finals of the European Championships in 2016, where they bowed out to eventual competition winners Portugal. The team are governed by the Football Association of Wales, which is the third-oldest football association in the world. Wales' all-time top goalscorer is Gareth Bale.
