We've all tried to squeeze ourselves into small clothes from time to time.
After all, it feels good when you can still fit into that "magic" number, but one woman said it may not be the best idea. Isabelle Morris, AKA Fitness for Lazy Girls to her 90,000 Instagram followers, is known for sharing fitness advice online.
She often posts body positive content as she wants women to know they can look amazing without restricting what they eat all the time. But she recently turned her attention to fashion and clothing size.

Isabelle recently shared pictures of herself trying on a gorgeous blue outfit. In one she tries to "fit into" the outfit, while in the other she opted for a bigger size to find an option that fits properly.
It's fair to say she looked much better when she didn't try to "squeeze" into it", and just found the size that fitted her body. When she sized up she looked happy, confident and relaxed.
Not to mention, the outfit looked totally great on her. She shared the post to remind people that clothes are meant to fit, and we shouldn't let sizing define our worth.
Writing on Instagram, Isabelle said: "Clothes are supposed to fit YOU - not the other way around! Besties, let’s stop letting clothing sizes define how we feel about ourselves.
"Sizing is literally SO different at every store and across items. Not to mention that we change and fluctuate based on the time of day, time of month and throughout our lives!
"At the end of the day, the size is just a number. Pick the size that’s going to fit YOU & make you feel confident and comfortable! No one knows what that number is anyway.
"Would be nice if stores would align on a conventional sizing scale though. What do you think?!"
Over 16,000 people have liked the post since Isabelle shared it, and her followers thanked her for drawing attention to the matter. They think it's great that she's so open about body image.
One person said: "Love what you promote Isabelle. We would be honoured to collab with you!"
Another wrote: "Such a good message!!" A third replied: "Educating and empowering your audience!"
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Thanks to you, I use this mantra all the time!! It is really helping to bend my body dysmorphia and helping me find my personal style."
