Wrexham Football Club

Welsh team Wrexham Association Football Club (Wrexham A.F.C) was founded in 1864 and is the third-oldest professional football club in the world.

The team, which plays at the Racecourse Stadium, was bought by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in 2021.

Wrexham FC play in EFL League Two, the fourth tier of English football following promotion during the 2022–23 season, a year in which they also progressed to the fourth round in the FA Cup.
