Wrestling legend John Cena has revealed his has recently had surgery on both of his arms to have them "repaired".
The WWE Champion turned Hollywood star confirmed he had undergone an operation on both of his arms as a way of repairing wear and tear over the course of his career.
A post thanking the surgery team and orthopaedic surgeon Jeff Dugas was posted to Cena's X account, with the former Twitter app playing host to a cheery-looking Cena posing with his doctor.

His surgery announcement comes following a recent stint back in WWE that saw him fight Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel early this month. Cena was full of praise for the "world-class facility" as well wishes poured in from fans replying to the image Cena posted to X.

His post read: "Thank you for the autograph, Jeff Dugas MD! So very grateful to him and his whole team for two successful surgeries. A world-class facility that has me ready to seize the day… with two repaired arms!"
One fan wrote: "Get better soon man" while another added: "Get well soon Cena!". A third fan even joked around with an infamous meme of Cena, noting the "You Can't See Me" catchphrase which spawned a series of images with Cena cropped out.
They wrote: "Posing in front of an empty medical bed." Beyond the jokes were hopes from some which would see Cena return to in-ring action at the Royal Rumble event. A fan wrote: "See you at the rumble goat".
Hollywood favourite Cena is now living the high life and recovering from his surgery, but it never used to be so fortunate. He previously revealed he would enter pizza-eating competitions as he could not afford food.
He said at the time: "I failed to the point of like, man I'm like living in my car. I love it out here but I think I gotta go back. I took the California Highway Patrol exam, failed. So I was gonna be a cop, failed. Every avenue of fitness, failed.
"I remember bouncing at a place called Sharky's in Hermosa Beach and there was a pizza place, Zeppe's Pizza, right next to Sharky's. They had a deal where they had a challenge if you could eat their whole pizza, you got it for free. “I used to eat there every night, a whole pizza, so I didn't have to pay because I didn't have money to pay the guy".
