If you've always fancied having your nipples pierced, but don't fancy the pain, then have no fear as you can now fake it.

Brand Fashion Nova are selling nipple pasties which come complete with a fake piercing attached to make it seem like you have a bar through your nipples. And what's better is that it's only a fiver a pack.

The brand took to its Instagram page this week to share a video promoting its 'Are Those Real Faux Pierced Nipple Covers'. And despite some people excited about the product, some weren't totally for it.

The video showed a woman taking out the pasties from underneath her top and waving them. Written over the top of the video was: 'After a long day of wearing Fashion Nova's nipple piercing pasties." The brand captioned the post: "All The Kink Without Any Of The Pain To Get It."

The pasties mean you don't have to go through the pain of the piercing

Some were keen to bag a pair, with one person writing: "Omg I want those." Another added: "The beauty without the commitment, I love it," while a third added: "I want my real ones done but I’ll try the sample first."

However, many weren't keen, saying they were an "insult" to those who go through with the pain of the real piercing. "If you didn’t go through the pain - you don’t deserve to flaunt them," wrote one person. While another added: "This is an insult to those who actually went through the pain." A third also exclaimed: "What kind of world are we living in!? We gotta do better!"

The pasties only have two reviews so far on the Fashion Nova website, and again opinion was split. One person liked them, as they exclaimed: "So cute they look real! They are delicate so be careful!" However, another fumed: "It broke right away. The jewellery was only being held by an extremely tiny piece of fragile silicone."

The product comes after Kim Kardashian promoted her Skims nipple push up bra back in November. The product features fake nipples attached to it to make it look like you're keeping perky - whatever the weather. It seems the bras have gone down a storm, despite being rather pricey at $62 (£50), with them currently sold out on the Skims website.
